Sunday 3th Feb 2007ModelKraft Model Show, Bletchley Leisure Centre Milton Keynes. THIS IS BEFORE THE NEXT MEETING. PLEASE CAN THOSE INTENDING TO MAN THE MAFVA CAMBS STAND PLEASE CONFIRM. At the moment, I can’t be sure that I will go; nor can a couple of the usual suspects: Paul Middleton who will be in the States on business; and Mike Whitty who, as many of you will know, has been most unwell, but is now back at home recuperating. Best wishes to Mike from all in the Cambridge Branch

Also, Simon & Vicky of Simon’s Models, strong supporters of the branch, are planning a show in March as those that Paul M emailed will already now;

To quote Simon:

Hello Everybody,
Just to let you know we are thinking of running a model show not competition in March and we are looking at Sunday 9th.  We have looked at doing it in the Parish Centre in Warboys (hence the name) in the afternoon. If any one is interested I will have a firm date in the next couple of days and I will send it round. The idea is to promote the hobby and to let people who would not normally show at competition or bigger shows a chance to let the rest of us see their stuff with out the pressure of a big do.
There will be no charge to enter as we will sponsor the hall and there will be a small charge for the public (if any show up), there will be tea and coffee available for those showing and if not I'm afraid there will be a small charge for refreshments.
There will be a slip handed to any people who do show up to look and we thought about letting pick a couple of favourites for a small prize or two (as I said it is not a competition just for fun). Any thoughts good or bad please let me know, but be gentle with me as this is the first show I have tried to organise.
Simon
